28-04 Samuel Jack signs with Dox Records and releases first single
A new signing on Dox Records! The British singer-songwriter Samuel Jack has released his first single Let It All Out today.
Samuel Jack was born in London but spent much of his childhood bouncing between Clapham, Johannesburg and the Netherlands as his parents moved around for work. With such a nomadic childhood it’s perhaps not surprising that Samuel left home at sixteen to move to the outskirts of a small village in Somerset. Here he began writing songs on an old battered piano.
It didn’t take long before people took notice of his authentic sound and intimate songwriting, resulting in support from, amongst others, BBC Introducing/ BBC Radio 2, Graham Norton and KRCW Los Angeles. The American TV has also shown its support for the singer-songwriter with his music being featured on several TV series including most recently Nashville, Satisfaction, About A Boy, Grimm and Bull. To top it all off this past year the singer-songwriter embarked on an extensive tour through the UK, with a performance at Glastonbury as an highlight. The tour has recently been extended and will continue in the coming months.
Samuel Jack will be releasing several new tracks on Dox Records in the coming months followed by his debut EP. Let It All Out is now available on all music services.
