Evil Empire Orchestra

23-05 Evil Empire Orchestra joins Dox Records

A new signing! The Belgian eight piece band ‘Evil Empire Orchestra’ has signed with us. The band creates a crossover between pyschedelica, dirty soul and garagefunk. Evil Empire won their spurs with Hooverphonic, Internationals, El Tattoo del Tigre, Antwerp Gipsy Ska Orkestra and Creature with the Atom Brain. Its raw vocals that sound like a mix of Beth Gibbons and Janis Joplin, combined with godless grooves make Evil Empire Orchestra a band you will have to see, hear and feel.

Evil Empire Orchestra will be releasing their new EP on Dox Records this fall so be sure to keep an eye out for more news. We can’t wait to release their new music!

“Evil Empire Orchestra blew my socks off one sundrenched afternoon. Funk and soul, raw, deep and serious. If you want to get the place dancing, then don’t think twice. If you want your heart to melt in a sweet-and-sour mince, then get a load of Kimberly’s vocals. Without this, you don’t really have legs, or a heart.” – Jeroen Olyslaegers
